If students did not finish the work from the stations we worked in, they need to complete it for homework. Please click on the title of this post to view all of the stations with the directions for each.
Station 1: Textbook
DIRECTIONS: Tape the guided reading notes into your notebook on page 7. Taking turns reading and following along, read Ch. 1, Lesson 2. As you are reading, stop and complete your guided reading notes.
When you have completed the reading, on page of your notebook answer the question on the bottom of your notes.
Station 2: Vocabulary
DIRECTIONS: Using your textbook, a pencil, and a highlighter, write on page 5 of your notebook the vocabulary words with definitions for Lesson 2. See Mrs. Gipson’s Notebook for reference.
Then on page 4 of your Notebook, take one vocabulary word that you find difficult and draw/diagram/write something to help you remember the word and definition.
Station 3: Primary & Secondary Sources
DIRECTIONS: Read the section titled "Primary and Secondary Sources" on page 10 & 11 of your textbook. On page 9 of your notebook, create a chart like the one shown on the back of these instructions.
